Shahrukh Khan played the role of a bootlegger in "Raees" which was a biography based on Gujarat liquor don Abdul Latif residing in Ahmedabad. The character had rivalry with police, connections with politicians and many other events. Gujarat is an alcohol ban state where he smuggled and sold liquor. He is willing to enter politics and is charged of riots and terrorism meeting an ultimate fate in police encounter. The rivalry between him and police officer played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui is worth a watch.
