Shahrukh Khan started his career with theatre plays with his mentor Barry John Sir & later acted in Doordarshan in TV serials like Doosra Kewal, Fauji, Wagle ki Duniya, Dil Dariya, Circus etc.

"Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" was a movie where being one person Shahrukh Khan performed two roles. One of a simple, boring kind of husband and other as a dude who tried to impress the heroine to become her lover. The expressions in both roles were so great which made that movie a clear blockbuster.
