Shahrukh Khan started his career with theatre plays with his mentor Barry John Sir & later acted in Doordarshan in TV serials like Doosra Kewal, Fauji, Wagle ki Duniya, Dil Dariya, Circus etc.
Shahrukh Khan played a different kind of role in the movie "Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam" alongwith Madhuri Dixit & Salman Khan. He performed exceptionally in the role of an envious husband and showed a range of expressions. Jealousy, Pain, Love, Possessiveness, Anger as well as a depressed man as he hated the friendship of his wife with her childhood friend Salman Khan. He had an inferiority complex as Salman Khan played the role of a renowned singer.
