Shahrukh Khan started his career with theatre plays with his mentor Barry
John Sir & later acted in Doordarshan in TV serials like Doosra Kewal, Fauji, Wagle ki Duniya, Dil Dariya, Circus etc.
"JOSH" was a movie where Shahrukh Khan played role of a hooligan and was leader of a rival gang among the two. Previously also Shahrukh Khan had played the role of a hooligan in movie RAMJAANE but this was different. His love for his sister Shirley played by Aishwarya Rai was too brilliant in his facial expressions.
Shahrukh Khan's role in Josh as Max established him as KING OF EXPRESSIONS. The following shorts mashup video clearly shows his expressions which puts a soul in the written character.
