"Veer Zaara" was a cross border (India & Pakistan) love story where an Indian Airforce Officer Veer Singh accidentally meets Zaara who is daughter of an aspiring Pakistani politician. They secretly fall in love. As a result, Veer goes to Pakistan to convey his love. Later while returning to India, he gets falsely implicated as an intelligence agent by Zaara's fiancé Raza. He stays in Lahore jail over 2 decades. Then battle in the court starts regarding his identity. The way Shahrukh Khan performed this role was marvelous as his expressions created a deep impact on audience.
