SHAHRUKH KHAN - THE KING OF        BOLLYWOOD

Shahrukh Khan started his career with theatre plays with his mentor Barry John Sir & later acted in Doordarshan in TV serials like Doosra Kewal, Fauji, Wagle ki Duniya, Dil Dariya, Circus etc.

Shahrukh Khan fondly known as SRK was 1st among the actors who took the risk of playing an anti hero role in movies like Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam while these movie roles were rejected by Salman Khan as well as Aamir Khan during that 1990s era.

It is rumored in Bollywood gossips that Shahrukh Khan had challenged the director duo Abbas Mastan that no actor can play this anti-hero role of Baazigar better than him. At late nights, Shahrukh Khan use to practice the dialogues of this movie and practiced so hard to fit into this role. In the end, he convinced the directors who were considering other actors like Salman Khan for this role who rejected this role. 

Baazigar was Out of the Box movie because no other actor dared to play a negative role. Shahrukh Khan accepted this challenge & set his journey towards superstardom. So his hardwork, creativity & calculated risk paid him huge dividends. By the way, he is considered as the LAST SUPERSTAR of Bollywood.
